I am so frustrated and angry. My ex decided to wait until the very last minute before disclosing to me that the house we owned together, that he was supposed to make sure my name was OFF of, was being forclosed. So I got stuck with a foreclosure on my credit which was doing very well at the time. Of course now it has tanked and there is nothing I can do about even though it WAS NOT MY FAULT.

So my dad decides that he thinks he can help me out by buying a house in his name but letting me take care of the payments. I am not broke, but I just have the bad luck of marrying an idiot. So we start looking in the area for houses that are going at great prices because they have been foreclosed on and we found some great deals.

We go to the bank. If Dad buys a house it has to be considered an investment home and then he has to count the rent as income and it messes with his social security and all that jazz. So we can't do that. They did tell him he can take out a second mortgage on his house and buy the other house with cash. I won't stand for that one either. So basically he can't even help me out. I have money. I have a job, a steady secure job. And still I have to deal with the consequences that were thrust upon me by an idiot.

I could buy a house for cheaper than renting right now and I can't do it because of my credit number. This totally SUCKS!!!!
